Steve reported seeing a very dark figure begin crossing Highway 70 west of Brighton. At long distance he first interpreted it as a black dog, then described it as upright on two legs and roughly 5.5–6 feet tall. His wife was in the passenger seat but did not look up and is not treated as a visual co-witness.
