What is documented

The recovered episode description describes a January 2021 archery mule-deer hunt in which John and companions reported human-like scat and barefoot tracks, including tracks crossing their fresh tire path, plus a log moved into the road. On a later return that year, John reports rocks thrown from a hillside and a distant dark, heavily built figure that he attempted to film with his phone. Two days later, he describes a second visual observation through trees at roughly 80 yards.

Current limitations

The interview contains unusually detailed testimony, but SRO has not recovered the alleged phone footage, exact coordinates, contemporaneous photographs, independent statements from the hunting party, or another documentary record sufficient for a standalone case reconstruction. Claims of telepathic communication are preserved as interpretation rather than treated as independently established evidence.
