A Hunter Has a Terrifying Encounter in New Mexico | It Wanted to Eat Me (Unit 23)
John describes a 2021 New Mexico hunting chronology involving human-like tracks, thrown rocks, a distant dark figure, and a later reported face-to-face observation.
The recovered episode description describes a January 2021 archery mule-deer hunt in which John and companions reported human-like scat and barefoot tracks, including tracks crossing their fresh tire path, plus a log moved into the road. On a later return that year, John reports rocks thrown from a hillside and a distant dark, heavily built figure that he attempted to film with his phone. Two days later, he describes a second visual observation through trees at roughly 80 yards.
