The Organization
How to Read Your Baby provides the Partners in Parenting Education (PIPE) curriculum, training and resources to professionals who support parents and young children. The organization serves parenting educators, nurses, social workers, therapists and other practitioners who use relationship-based learning in their work with families.
The Project
Grassroots developed an essentially new WordPress website and updated the online brand presentation to bring the organization’s educational offer into clearer focus. The site distinguishes the curriculum from training opportunities, resources and purchasing or registration options without losing the connection between them.
The Challenge
Visitors arrive with different questions. One educator may want to understand what PIPE teaches. Another may be comparing the comprehensive eight-week online training with on-site training. Others need materials, registration details or answers about using the curriculum with families. A successful education website needs to serve these intentions without forcing everyone through one long explanation.
Why This Project Mattered
Training and curriculum organizations depend on clarity. Professionals need to understand who a program is designed for, how learning takes place, what resources are available and where to go next. That means information architecture and practical user pathways matter as much as visual presentation.
What Grassroots Did
WordPress Website Strategy & Development
Created an essentially new website framework that explains PIPE’s curriculum, training programs, educational resources and professional audiences.
Updated Brand Presentation
Brought the organization’s education-focused identity and online presentation into a more coherent experience.
Curriculum & Training Information Architecture
Established distinct paths for the PIPE curriculum, comprehensive online training, on-site learning and program materials.
Foundational Search Organization
Organized topics and page language around parenting education, professional development and PIPE curriculum questions.
Registration & Resource Pathways
Made training dates, registration or purchase information, educator resources and contact routes easier to find.
SEO & Digital Foundation
SEO level: Foundational SEO. The website organizes core service language around parenting-education curriculum, professional educator training and PIPE resources. The aim was a clear, searchable information foundation—not a claim of verified ranking improvements, new inquiries or quantified program results.
Key Improvements
Clearer Program Story
Visitors can distinguish the curriculum itself from professional development and the available learning formats.
Audience-Oriented Navigation
Parent educators, nurses, social workers and other family-serving professionals have recognizable paths through the site.
More Cohesive Digital Identity
Educational content, service explanations and brand presentation work as one website experience.
Better Next-Step Visibility
Site pathways lead toward training information, registration, resources and direct questions.
The Outcome
How to Read Your Baby / PIPE has an online structure where educational programs, training options and resources are easier to distinguish and explore. The project demonstrates how Grassroots approaches education website design: start with the audiences and their questions, then build the WordPress content structure and visitor journeys around real tasks.
